A YEAR IN REVIEW 2018

A Few of our favourites.

Winter 2018

We found a really lovely quality velvet – both plain and embossed and offered a co-ordinated collection of party wear – we matched these up with some warm velvet chenille knits and some very wearable soft jackets and jumpers. Meanwhile the prints (Urban Mosaic, Etched in Flames, Hot Shade, Peeking Plaid, Washed Denim and Floating Mosaic) introduced in Autumn continued to appear in and were co-ordinated with Dark Cherry, Indigo, Classic Grey and Cocoa Plains.

Autumn 2018

We were so delighted to have our favourite prints especially produced for us on a fabric which we had been searching for many seasons! The fantastic Marocain fabric was made up in our favourite shirts, dresses and camisoles.  We so loved the reception you gave of the idea of having the same print on different qualities that this became the theme of 2018 – when we produced 6 prints (Urban Mosaic, Etched in Flames, Hot Shade, Peeking Plaid, Washed Denim and Floating Mosaic) each on 4 qualities.  As always we introduced lots of limited edition prints.

Summer 2018

The summer saw very pretty plains against a menu of beautiful florals: we had prints on offer on silk, jersey, linen and viscose bases on a variety of silhouettes – printed especially for us – so that if you loved the print you would find the perfect garment. This collection was the ultimate in limited editions.  We combined this with strong neutral linen prints, embroidered and plain and an array of plain jersey colours in a top quality viscose summer weight from a new UK supplier.

Spring 2018

Last Spring we launched a collection of fantastic jersey and georgette separates. The prints were on a melange ground giving a mix of an olde worlde feeling with the usual contemporary take on classic prints.
